A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the
code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred
thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new
section, designated section eight, relating to
authorizing the board of accountancy to promulgate
a legislative rule relating to the board and rules
of professional conduct.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, be amended by adding thereto a new section,
designated section eight, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND
BOARDS TO PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-8. Board of accountancy.
The legislative rule filed in the state register on
the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred
ninety-six, under the authority of section three, article
nine, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the board
of accountancy to meet the objections of the legislative
rule-making review committee and refiled in the state
register on the twenty-seventh day of February, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, relating to the board
of accountancy (board rules and rules of professional
conduct
, 1 CSR 1), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the
Board of Accountancy to promulgate a legislative rule
relating to the Board and Rules of Professional Conduct
